«Гостиница напоминает санаторий 70-х годов»
Природа, сад на территории гостиницы.
Мы заехали на одну ночь по дороге, чтобы не заезжать в Сан Хосе. Приехали поздно, часов в 7 вечера. Территория гостиницы огромная, а стоянка только на въезде. Стоянка была забита и небыло места для нас. Мы поставили на пару минут машину там, где смогли, чтобы зарегестрироваться и спросить где можно припарковаться. Сразу же к нам подбежал охранник с недовольным лицом, мол почему паркуетесь тут! Так как мы приехали поздно, нам дали самый дальний домик, в конце огромной территории гостиницы. Обещан был домик у реки, получили там, где было свободно. Мы же всего на ночь, а домик такой же, как и обещали, только в глуши и на горе. Туда ещё подвозят, а оттуда ходи сам. WiFi только на ресепшн или в ресторане. В домике нет связи вообще. Все очень старое, строилось давно. Завтрак ужасный. Столовая в санатории. На фоне всего этого не появилось желания искупаться в бассейнах или пойти в спа.

Beautiful hotel and surrounding area
Breakfast is nice, facilities are excellent, surrounding area is beautiful. Is has a lot of things to offer, and there are tours around the area easy to book or do by yourself. Is one of the nicest areas of Costa Rica. Is a very relaxing place to spend a few days.
The restaurant schedule at night is not what they advertised, they close really early around 8:30pm, so if you want to have a nice dinner on site you need to plan ahead or you will not be able to do it. In the end it was ok as we ended up going to the nearby town of Orosi for a nice dinner out.

excellent accommodation and disappointing food
The facilities were great, staff very helpful and professional , setting absolutely magical. The receptionist were incredibly helpful, went out of their way to provide us with information and tips about the local area.
The food was very disappointing, Breakfast choice very poor! We have dinner both nights we stayed. On the first night the food was ok and service by a young waiter very good indeed. On the second night the food was beyond disappointing, greasy, salty, inedible, the choice of drinks was next to nothing.

Beautiful Lodge in the jungle - very expensive restaurant
A wonderful location about 45 minutes drive from Cartago in the middle of the jungle . Large bedroom and bathroom , nice patio , great for a stop for 1-2 nights to relax and use the sulphur bath outside !
Very expensive restaurant , food quality not worth the price , breakfast was ok ( one could choose between different eggs or granola ) , coffee disappointing for Costa Rica
